RANDALL D. HOBROCK, DVM
Dr. Hobrock grew up on a small family farming and ranching operation near Natoma, Kansas. In 1994 he began his undergraduate study in Animal Science at Kansas State University. In 1998 Dr. Hobrock was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. The curriculum there prepared him well for a career as a mixed-animal practitioner.

Throughout the curriculum at KSU CVM, a great deal of time was spent studying Cow/Calf and Feedlot Production Medicine at the Great Plains Veterinary Education Center and Meat Animal Research Center near Clay Center, Nebraska.

In order to further pursue a passion in Equine Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Hobrock completed an externship Janssen Veterinary Clinic, a primarily Equine practice in Sheridan, Indiana. Much of the time there focused on reproduction and lameness cases.

After graduating in 2002 from KSU CVM, Dr. Hobrock found employment as an Associate Veterinarian at a highly-regarded mixed animal practice just north of Topeka, Kansas. There he saw a wide variety of Small Animal Orthopedic and Soft Tissue surgeries as well as many Internal Medicine cases. The area provided an abundant amount of Equine Reproductive, Lameness and Dentistry cases through which he has become very proficient with Ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics. The practice workload also included Bovine Herd Health, Reproduction and Backgrounder/Feedlot Medicine.

In October 2006, after almost a year of searching for a community that they wanted to raise a family in, Dr. Hobrock and his wife Shaela made the decision to move to Concordia, Kansas. It is in Concordia where he has constructed his full service Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Hobrock is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, Academy of Veterinary Consultants, American Association Equine Practitioners, and the Society for Theriogenology.

Dr. Hobrock enjoys spending time with his wife Shaela and two young boys, Tyler & Cole. Dr. Hobrock also enjoys spending his spare time hunting, fishing and visiting his family back at the ranch.
